But by 2030, 2 million tonnes of still-functional panels will be downcycled or discarded\u2014wasting 30 GW of usable power capacity. That\u2019s nearly 400 TWh of clean electricity lost over their remaining lifetime\u2014enough to power all households in Germany for four years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n And this is just the start. By 2040, the world will face 50 million tonnes of solar waste. By 2050, over 200 million. Without change, the clean energy solution risks becoming one of our biggest waste problems.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n Prove it works<\/p>\n\n\n\n Build the first pilot solar plant powered entirely by second-life panels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Do it again<\/p>\n\n\n\n Use everything we\u2019ve learned to build the next one better, faster and cheaper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Make it scale<\/p>\n\n\n\n Turn it into an operating system. License it. Let others build second-life energy hubs too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Build the ecosystem<\/p>\n\n\n\n Connect all stakeholders into one circular system. Make reuse the default.
